The rooms were impeccable - luxurious, neat, and exuded cleanliness. A haven of comfort after a long day. Moreover, the pool area was superb, featuring an abundance of comfortable seating arrangements throughout.
Breakfast, served from 7 to 10 AM, was a standout feature included in the overall cost. It boasted an impressive array of options, from fresh fruits and yogurt to mouthwatering croissants and waffles. Notably, guests could indulge as much as they desired from these items. Furthermore, the option to order from the menu added a delightful personalized touch to the morning dining experience.
The hotel's restaurant was delightful, and with two more dining options nearby, there was no shortage of culinary variety. The surrounding area boasted numerous shops, adding to the overall convenience and charm of the stay.

The breakfast was good but the lunch can be improved on. Enjoyed the dinner which was included in the price and reminded me of home! The lodge is very close to the KNP gates and has enough space to take morning/evening walks.

The best Lodge I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at.
The best Lodge I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, the set-up of the shower was something that was just far beyond pleasant, and high-quality service. Also, My Gorsh the friendliness of the stuff ...I swear they treat you like you the only guest that they have ever hosted. This is the one place that I would like to visit each and every year...every month if I could...Lol If only. But seriously this is by far one of theeeeeeee best place.

The roads in the area are in the most terrible state, driving became a nightmare. Taxi drivers possed the worst threat. They ignored virtually all traffic signs.
Lastly, passing trucks were a nightmare, they totally kept me awake most nights

My problems were with the unwillingness of Tranquil Nest to provide me with my selected accomodation.
I have no feedback on Hazyview as such exept to warn visitors on the very poor road conditions. There is every chance to damage your vehicle wheels and suspension if you are not extremely vigilant. It is much worse than ever before. Potholes/crumbling tar etc etc.

A good choice of hotels at a wide range of prices.
A good choice of hotels at a wide range of prices. All pretty close to the gates to the park. We went low end of up market and could probably have had just as good an experience in some of the cheaper accommodation. Take half board because if you are out all day looking for game you will be tired. Would recommend self drive in a decent size car. Protection from the heat or the cold and no dust. Be prepared to drive for some hours. Being out longer gives you a better chance to come across the animals. Best to plan a 3 hour trip to a destination in the park then come back via another route. So a 6 hour drive. You should then manage to see a variety of the animals. We bought the expensive park guide but worth it. Gives kilometers for each section so easy to plan the days drive. Speed limit is between 40 -50 k so judge how far you can get and leave extra time to get back out of the park.

Close to Kruger Park gates, but take care on the roads as there are very many potholes and tyre replacement may happen, make sure a hire care has full sized spare, don't get a car with low profile tyres and take out tyre insurance. Because of the potholes don't travel at night especially in the rain Many tyre shops in Hazyview but closed on New Years Day. Hazyview can appear a bit crazy but the shopping centres are convenient and new - go with the African flow!
I would like give 5 stars to the staff of Royal Bakoena Hamilton Parks Country lodge Man, they went out of their way, very efficient and friendly. A special thank you to Again, yep that’s the name of the Concierge that assisted us, what a gem! He is the receptionist, waiter an all rounder basically. He treated us like royalty. I edge everyone to visit this Lodge when you are in the area, you will not regret it. This probably a very long.
Ashbourne is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Hazyview town or after a day at Kruger to relax. Stunning sunset views and very private. The bed was so comfortable and huge. The kitchen is well equipped but we dined in the hotel restaurant. The owners were extremely friendly and informative and made us feel right at home straight away. Loved their dogs. Lovely area to stretch the legs too! Great value for money.
I wish to compliment Liza and her small staff for excellent service under adverse conditions. It is evident that the lodge has not been taken care off hence information provided in the brochure listed within the rooms were incorrect. As a 5 star boutique hotel I would expect honesty to be given to guests before their arrival.
The nature all around.
The design of the hotel.
They provide tours with helicopters (17000R for 45min) and organize safari tours for less than 2000R.
The staff is working hard to make the hotel functioning well and to maintain it.
The menu of the restaurant is interesting and they cook well.
The location, setting, and general amenities were great.
Nice place to relax and sit by the pool, play golf, go for walks, and let the kids roam free.
Lots of attractions within an hour's drive and Kruger is a quick 20 minutes away depending on which gate you go to.
We loved the staff... Heather, Lynette and the extended staff were amazing as good as being with family.... Warm and loving... And very helpful when it came to suggesting tours and attractions in and around the area.... So hats off to them
We had such an awesome stay with family. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 9. Absolutely clean. The host was so freindly and accommodating. We really had a nice stay. I will highly recommend Numbi Hills Self Catering.
the property was spacious and fully equipped for the best self catering experience. we were received in a clean space, with crisp bedding. Kruger park lodge has excellent amenities for families, and beautiful scenery.
The hotel is located in Hazeyview; a short drive to both Phabeni and Numbi gates at the Kruger National Park. It is also within a relatively short distance to some of the Panorama Route attractions.
Spacious clean rooms, with very comfortable beds. Easy to book different kinds of adventures straight from the hotel. Beautiful picturesque plush surroundings, offering serenity & quiet.
Clean and spacious
Very close to the Kruger gate and other attractions nearby
